Home World of Warcraft Professions Dragonflight Jewelcrafting Guide

Hello! Today we will consider a profession that, according to preliminary estimates, is in the S tier in terms of demand and gold making. So let’s get a closer look at Dragonflight Jewelcrafting Bonuses and Benefits, new expansion changes, and specializations.

Dragonflight Jewelcrafting Bonuses & Benefits

It seems that Jewelcrafting is the most favorable profession for the gold farm because it allows:

  • Create reagents for other professions;
  • Craft jewels with unusual effects and high stats (some of the crafted items will be better than your loot from dungeons and raids);
  • Craft items that increase your abilities in other professions;
  • Create pets and toys;
  • Create cosmetic items;
  • Create fun stuff like Projection Prism that copies the appearance of the player.

Moreover, jewelers can now create up to three sockets in jewelry, making their services indispensable.

Dragonflight Jewelcrafting Changes

The concept of the crafting system has changed a lot, but it has changed in the same way for all professions. Here we will briefly describe the main changes, but if you want to deepen your knowledge in this matter, visit our Dragonflight Profession Overview.

Crafting Orders is one of the interesting novelties that will be added for professions. It looks like an auction where you order an item and an artisan will make it for you for a fee.

Moreover, the game now has a recraft function. Recraft gives you an opportunity to re-craft an item to change its stats and/or effects.

Also, every profession now has a specialization. Developing one or another specialization will allow you to create many more useful items. The quality of the created item is also affected by new crafting-specific stats:

  • Resourcefulness — affects the chance to use fewer reagents than the recipe calls for;
  • Inspiration — affects the chance to craft this recipe with bonus skill;
  • Crafting Speed —decreases the crafting speed by a certain %;
  • Multicraft — % chance to craft the same item as a bonus.

Dragonflight also did not forget to change the work of the profession tools. Now, when you perform some profession-related actions, your character picks up a special tool, goggles, and jeweled apron and generally turns into a ♂️ jewelry master ♂️.

In addition, there is now a separate slot for your tool in the profession window, so you no longer have to look for it in your bag.
