WoW Raven Lord FAQ
Can you still get the Raven Lord?
Yes, Raven Lord is still available for players to get. All you have to do is to defeat the boss Anzu in Sethekk Halls dungeon on Heroic difficulty. The rest is RNG, since the mount has only 1-2% chance to drop.
How do you get Raven Lord?
To get the Raven Lord mount, you have to travel to the Auchindoun (Terokkar Forest, Outland) and enter the Sethekk Halls dungeon (43.3, 65.4.) on Heroic difficulty. There, the player has to defeat the boss Anzu, which has the chance to drop the mount.
The Raven Lord has a very low drop chance, so it will probably take many attempts to get the mount. At least the dungeon should be really easy to complete for all the well-geared players, since it came out all the way back in the Burning Crusade.
How rare is the Raven Lord?
Raven Lord has only 1% chance to drop from the Anzu boss fight. Judging by Wowhead statistics, the majority of WoW players still don’t have this classic mount. So, even though it’s far from the rarest mount, it’s still a respectable one to have.
Can the Raven Lord mount fly?
Sadly, despite being a bird, the Raven Lord can’t fly — it’s strictly a ground mount. But hey, at least you don’t have to worry about it flying away from you!
How often can you farm Raven Lord?
Raven Lord drops from Anzu only on the Heroic difficulty of the Sethekk Halls dungeon, meaning that you can farm for it only once per day. Of course, you can always increase your chances by running the dungeon on multiple characters at once.
Do i need an item to summon Anzu?
No, not anymore. It is rather peculiar - not only did you require the Essence-Infused Moonstone item in the past to summon this mount, you also needed a druid player to use it for you. While that sounds like a cool little mechanic to make players interact more, it’s good that the process got streamlined in the future expansions, making it possible to farm for this mount as a solo non-druid player.
